When does Botox start working and how long does it last?

Botox starts working around day 7. The maximum potential is at 2 weeks. Botox results will gradually fade over the next 3-4 months. Treatments will be needed every 3-4 months to maintain results.

How much do wrinkle relaxors cost?

Pricing for Botox is $13 per unit.

How many units do I need?

Dosing is customized based on many factors during your consultation such as skin quality, prior experiences, areas being treated, and budget constrictions.

These averages can be used as a quick reference:

  • horizontal forehead lines 5-20 units

  • frown lines 16-24 units

  • crow’s feet 4-12 units per side

  • brow lift 2-4 units per side

  • lip flip 4-12 units

How do I know if I need Botox?

Treatment plans are customized during your consultation to determine exactly what you need to achieve your aesthetic goals. Generally, Botox, is used to relax muscles, soften wrinkles, and smooth texture.

Are there any ways to save?

Reward programs such as Allē (formerly Brilliant Distinctions)is a great ways to save. Allē is used to log many aesthetic services including Botox. These reward programs are great ways to take advantages of special savings.

Pre Treatment Care Instructions

 

·      Do not consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising)

·      Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible, for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections. 

·      Schedule your wrinkle relaxer appointment at least 2 weeks prior to any special events. Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area. 

·      Be sure to have a good breakfast, including food and drink before your procedure. This will decrease the chances of lightheadedness during your treatment. 

·      You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. 

Post Treatment Care Instructions

 

·     Do not manipulate the treated area for 4 hours following treatment.

·      Do not receive any facial/ laser/eyelash/eyebrow treatment for at least 2 weeks after injections. 

·      Do not lie flat for 4 hours after your Botox. This will decrease the risk of Botox migration.

·      It can take approximately 7-14 days for results to be seen with Botox. If the desired result is not seen after 2 weeks of your treatment you may need additional units to the treatment area. You will be charged for any product used during any enhancement or subsequent appointments.

·      Do not perform any activities involving straining, heavy lifting, or vigorous exercise for 6 hours after treatment. This will decrease the risk of Botox.
